What it is

Documentary is where Cine55 began. It is slow, honest work that asks you to listen first and shoot second. We bring a decade of experience to subjects that deserve careful handling, from interviews to vérité to longer-form storytelling.

Our edge is visual. We frame, light, and pace a story so the picture does real work, not just sits there. Every project gets the same attention to craft, whether it is a five-minute profile or a longer film.

We handle producing, directing, and cinematography in house, so the vision stays consistent from concept to delivery.

What's included

Story development

We shape the concept, find the throughline, and plan the shoot around the people at the center of it.

Producing and directing

Scheduling, crew, logistics, and direction on set. One team carrying the vision the whole way.

Cinematography

Camera matched to the story. We shoot on RED, Sony, Blackmagic, and other systems based on the look, budget, and vision of the project.

Edit, color, and delivery

Editing, color grading, and final delivery. Captions and ASL available when the project needs them.
